Verse 1

When you leave me, make me jump up off my roofDidn't faze you, would've given you the moonEven after everything that we've been throughI ain't never met nobody like youWhy you always tryna tell me that it's cool?Need to quiet 'cause you never tell the truthFelt like ballin' was the only thing to doTrade my woman for some diamonds and a coupe

Pre-Chorus

When she comin' for my heart, it feels like ArmageddonI'ma turn the tables, promise you will not forget itWon't apologize, don't give a fuck if you're offendedNo discussion, yeah, we gotta go our separate waysWon't take me down in flamesI don't even wanna know your nameWatch how everything is gonna change, yeah, ayy

Chorus

I'ma pull up in a Bentley with a fuckin' hunnid thousand in my pocket, yeah, yeahI'ma pull in, swang my door openStuntin', knowin' everybody watchin', yeah, yeahAnd help another bitch out the whipAnd I don't give a fuck if you don't like it, yeah, yeahJust to show you that it's overIt don't matter what you gotta say about it, yeahI'ma put that bitch pussy in a motherfuckin' bodybagSo you know that I'm never ever coming backYou kept your heart on the counter in a Prada bagI used to never ever want to see the light of day, yeahI was an idiotBeggin' on my knees onto the floorNow, I don't even want you anymore, anymoreIt's over nowIt's over now, yeah, yeah, yeah, ayy

What the song means

"Over Now" is a breakup song in which the narrator tries to convince himself and the listener that he has moved on from a woman who lied to him and played emotional games. The first verse feels raw. He admits how much she hurt him and how he felt pushed to react, and the story starts from that wound.

The mood then shifts in the chorus, where the hurt turns into defiance. He boasts about his money, his expensive car and his flashy lifestyle, presenting himself as someone who no longer cares what she thinks. The pre-chorus builds tension with images of war and apocalypse, and the second verse adds sharp insults, mocking her materialism and suggesting she only wanted what he could give her.

The key images, such as the car, the diamonds and the designer bag, stand for status and the material world he uses to cover his pain. The repeated line "It's over now" works like a mantra he keeps saying to make it true. The ending is ambiguous. His admission that he once begged on his knees shows he is still hurt, so the bravado reads more like a shield than a real conclusion.
